A comprehensive inventory and delivery management system.

Modern warehouses need to integrate with their customers' supply chains while streamlining and automating their own operations.  Apollo is an easy to use system that provides all the standard warehouse management functions like real time inventory tracking, automated order fulfilment and document production and also offers cutting edge connectivity to customers, transport partners and suppliers. Adding in customisable reporting and invoicing, Apollo offers a full  warehouse management service that will enhance the automation and increase the efficiency of a Warehouse's physical operations.

How does it work?

There are several elements at work within the Apollo system, firstly the system is connected to upstream systems using industry standard EDI messages. These messages are processed by our own specialist software which builds up the database of information. An easy to use desktop allows the users to get on with the tasks without needing to learn a complex and difficult to understand system. Many tasks are automated or greatly simplified with advanced software, the end result is that most tasks only require a few clicks or scans to be completed.

Apollo provides many ways to interact. A desktop program allows access to every function within the system. Documents can be viewed, printed and managed. Meanwhile, a web browser can be used to access reports and many of the desktop functions. For the warehouse itself, a mobile system provides a series of functions to capture the movement of inventory, both in and out of the warehouse.

On top of that, there is the messaging system which listens out for messages from the trading partners and will process them automatically without delay. All outbound messages are taken care of and sent on to their preferred destination.  As well as EDI messages, Apollo can send MS Excel sheets and PDFs as emails to internal or external destination.

Apollo offers a comprehensive set of tools to operate the office and shop floor as efficiently as possible.

EDI

Apollo includes as standard a powerful internet enabled EDI system. Apollo can process XML, Excel or CSV files. The XML files follow industry standard formats which enable fast and reliable data communications.

Desktop

Apollo's desktop provides a comprehensive set of tools to administrate the warehouse operations.

  • Inbound inventory - deliveries to the warehouse are created via the automated EDI processes. These eliminate user input and ensure the information is accurate and timely.

  • Delivery orders - instructions for outward delivery are again handled via the automated EDI processes. Orders are colour coded and presented on an easy to use list for follow up and actioning.

  • Warehouse delivery orders - orders may be created using the customer delivery order or created manually. Either way the process is clear and simple.

  • Outbound inventory - deliveries from the warehouse are shown on a simple to use list, with the ability to cancel and re-issue delivery notes if mistakes have been spotted. Delivery messages are sent over the internet using automated EDI processes.

  • Returns - Items returning to the warehouse can be specified and brought back into stock with a easy to use on screen function.

  • Damages and refurbishments - Handling or transit damages can be recorded in the system. Any follow up repairs can be noted and new package labels issued.

  • Inventory tracking - inventory information is accessible in an easy to use format with a power search capability.

Web

Apollo has an integrated web browser based user interface. All reports and many desktop functions are accessible via the browser, meaning that devices such as smart phones, tablets, macs and net-books can use Apollo.

  • Web desktop - the desktop functions work in much the same way as the desktop versions. Some functions are exclusive to the Apollo web portal, especially those that benefit from 2nd party access or remote access.

  • Web Reporting* - All of the following reports can be accessed via a web browser.

    • Inbound delivery

    • Outbound delivery

    • Container loading

    • Aged stock

    • Current stock package list

    • Historical warehouse packages

    • Rental invoices

    • Damages

* Many of these reports offer multiple use cases, as each can be exported into a detailed Excel format and then be reformatted and enhanced with further calculations and graphing.

Mobile

Apollo has an integrated  mobile solution which offers these functions for the operator.

  • Discharge - scan from the inbound transport to verify the manifest.

  • Unload - scan from the inbound transports to the store.
